The process of assigning social benefits will be automated

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President "On additional measures to automate the procedures for the provision of state social services and assistance to the population" was adopted.
In accordance with the resolution, from 1 September 2020, the procedures for considering applications for the appointment and the process of assigning social benefits will be carried out in stages through the information system "Single Register of Social Protection".
Among the main goals of introducing the system, the elimination of the subjective approach in decision-making through an objective assessment of the degree of need of low-income families is determined.
The resolution approved a list of documents and certificates that, from 1 January 2021, will not be required from citizens when providing state social services and assistance.
A certificate of recognition as low-income by means of the "Single Register of Social Protection" IS will be issued through the Unified portal of interactive state services, it is valid for 12 months.
In the executive office of the off-budget Pension Fund, a Sector is formed to receive applications and complaints from citizens about the appointment of social benefits through the IS “Single Register of Social Protection”.
" Single Register of Social Protection" has been used as an experiment in Syrdarya region since 1 October 2019.
