Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Austria appointed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By the decision of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Abat Fayzullayev, who previously worked as Assistant to the Minister, was appointed as the Head of the Organizational and Control Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Austrian Republic.
The new Ambassador was born in Nukus. He’s 37 years old. In 2000-2007, he studied at the Faculty of International Relations of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the bachelor’s and master’s programs, in 2009 he graduated from the correspondence department of the Tashkent State Economic University with a degree in International Economic Relations, worked in various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy Uzbekistan in the USA.
Abat Fayzullayev will replace Sherzod Asadov, the former Ambassador of our country to Austria and Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and other international organizations in Vienna and appointed as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in March.
