Application for social notification of citizens facing COVID-19 to be launched
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The efficiency of using mobile applications aimed at countering the COVID-19 pandemic, with quarantine measures, has been proven by the experience of South Korea, Singapore, Israel, Italy, France, Great Britain and many other countries.
The apps are designed to keep you calm after visiting public places and take immediate measures to prevent possible infection of your loved ones.
The most important thing in this situation is to prevent the spread of the disease.
The Ministry of Health, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications and the Khokimiyat of Tashkent city report on the implementation of the Self-Safety mobile application for social notification of citizens faced with coronavirus infection.
The application uses data from the GPS and Bluetooth modules of a mobile device, and if a virus is detected in one of the users, the system will match all intersection points within a radius of five meters within one minute.
As a result of determining the intersection points according to the specified conditions, all users who were in the radius will be notified of a possible contact and recommendations for action in the form of PUSH notifications.
The mobile application will be available for Android and IOS platforms, the corresponding links are posted on the website www.coronavirus.uz. When registering, the application will ask you to turn on the GPS and Bluetooth modules.
The effectiveness of the application depends on the massiveness of its use, respectively, the more users activate it while away from home, the more relevant the data will be.
The authorities urge the population to actively use the Safe-Safety application for early detection and prevention of transmission of infection, helping the community in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The application will help population to always have an additional opportunity to protect themselves from contact with infected people.
