Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 July 2020, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan together with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Israel organized a meeting with the President of the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce Uriel Linn in the format of videoconference.
This event was also attended by the heads of the relevant departments of the CCI of the two countries, as well as Maksud Ibodullaev, Temporary Checked in the Affairs of Uzbekistan in Israel.
Federation of Israel Chambers of Commerce (FICC) was founded in 1919 as an independent and non-profit organization.

FICC as a non-governmental non-profit organization unites 5 thousand enterprises operating in the service sector (60%), trade (40%), industry, agribusiness and handicrafts, 95% of which are small and 5% are medium-sized enterprises.
During the meeting, the Uzbek side noted that Uzbekistan highly values the relationship of mutually beneficial partnership and multifaceted cooperation with the State of Israel.

In particular, the attention of the participants was paid to the issues of establishing interaction in the spheres of health care, agriculture, holding trainings and training seminars for business entities, as well as medical tourism.
It is worth noting that the Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce in 2013 in Tel Aviv, where the parties came to the conclusion that it was necessary to revive this agreement, which will undoubtedly serve as an impetus for increasing trade between the two countries.
As you know, today in Uzbekistan there are 97 enterprises with the participation of Israeli capital, including 35 enterprises with 100% Israeli capital.
Taking into account the socio-economic development between the two countries, the issue of expanding cooperation in the following areas was considered:
- providing online consultations to Uzbek entrepreneurs in entering the Israeli market;
- exchange of information on the conditions for access of products of Uzbekistan and Israel to the markets of our countries.
Following the meeting, the CCI of Uzbekistan expressed its readiness to support and assist in expanding trade and economic cooperation and creating a reliable platform between the business circles of Uzbekistan and Israel.
