An agreement was reached to join forces to expand the range of common interests of Italian and Uzbek entrepreneurs, while covering the sectors of leather and footwear, jewelry, branded textile and silk products, building materials and agricultural products.
Separately touched upon measures to increase trade between the two countries by increasing the supply of Uzbek and Italian products.

Interregional cooperation during the negotiations was identified as a promising direction of Uzbek-Italian relations for the transition to a new format of economic and industrial cooperation, and the intensification of business, cultural and humanitarian ties. In particular, the dialogue touched upon the prospects of attracting leading Lombardy companies to implement large infrastructure projects in Samarkand and other regions of the Republic, create greenhouses and intensive gardens, produce household appliances, jewelry, building materials, cable, silk fiber, paper, as well as develop livestock and process waste.

The interaction between the Republican Higher School of Business and Management in Tashkent and the Higher School of Business at the Milan Polytechnic University on training in the field of management and project management is also actively developing.
