Uzbekkino congratulated women with new premiere of Tengiz film
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On the eve of International Women’s Day, the Uzbekkino National Agency decided to surprise women filmmakers in Uzbekistan by presenting a film based on real events.
On 6 March, as part of a closed screening, a movie was shot, commissioned by Uzbekkino, directed by Mansur Abdukhalikov according to the script by Gafur Shermuhammad.
The plot of the movie contains a real story from the life of Manzura Erniyazova, director of Muynok Chevari LLC, who lives in the Karakalpak city of Muynak. The holder of the Zhasorat medal, as well as the winner of the Tashabbus business competition, Manzura Erniyazova is a model of courage, strength and stamina. This is a woman who faced betrayal of a loved one, falls into disaster and became disabled. Despite this, she found the strength to overcome all life’s difficulties and become a worthy member of society, open a clothing workshop and employ many of Muynak’s girls.
“This is a private screening for women working in the film industry. We wanted not only to congratulate our beautiful half on the eighth of March, but also to get the opinions of professionals about the film and to understand whether the creative team of the Tengiz film managed to reveal the image of the modern heroine of our time. This film is designed to help people, especially women, get out of incredibly difficult life situations and benefit society, ”said Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director General of Uzbekkino.
The premiere of the film "Tengiz" will take place on the eve of the holiday of Navruz.
