Unique railway equipment delivered to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbekistan Temir Yollari purchased the only crane multifunctional mechanism in the CIS countries for the latest model MULTI TASKER KRC 1200UZ, manufactured at the KIROW ARDEL GmbH factory (Germany).
Powerful equipment shows exceptional quality when replacing turnouts, while carrying out track and bridge work, as well as in emergency and recovery service on the railway. A lifting mechanism weighing 175 tons and having a capacity of up to 150 tons was delivered from Leipzig to Tashkent via countries such as Poland, Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan.
At the Tukimachi station in the workshop of the Restoration Train, German and domestic specialists assembled the crane mechanism within 7 days in the established manner. The test results confirmed that the technical characteristics of the crane fully comply with all standards and requirements. After that, he was taken to the Recovery Train workshop of the UE Kokand Regional Railway Junction.
Hassan Matiev, deputy head of the maintenance and technological control department of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC, noted that this modern crane is used to ensure the safety of a 19.2-kilometer railway tunnel on the Angren-Pap line. Along with the prevention and elimination of emergencies on the railways of the UE Kokand regional railway junction section, it will also function successfully in mountainous regions and steppe zones where railways run.
Mikhail Permyakov, director of sales of railway cranes at the KIROW ARDEL GmbH plant, said that today this powerful equipment is in high demand in the world market and, at the request of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC, a lifting mechanism with high-tech characteristics was prepared at the plant and delivered to Uzbekistan.
The new crane has a number of advantages, which is reflected in its technical characteristics. In particular, it saves installation time by 2 times compared to the old technology. That is, if the installation of old similar equipment took 1 hour, then assembling a new one in place took 30 minutes. Its weight is 175 tons and a carrying capacity of 150 tons. All equipment is computerized, and technical operations and the process of weight lifting are displayed on the monitor. It also has the ability to horizontally rotate 360 degrees around its axis and set the necessary loads.
To learn how to work on this crane and how to operate it, six specialists from the Recovery Train workshop at the Kokand Regional Railway Junction Unit were trained in Germany for 10 days. After the lifting mechanism was delivered to Kokand, four German specialists conducted additional practical training for crane operators. According to the agreement, service maintenance of the equipment will be provided by German specialists free of charge for 2 years.
This technique is used for the first time not only among the countries of Central Asia, but also among the CIS countries.
