Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Today, on 5 December 2019, Tashkent hosted an official signing ceremony of the Corporate Agreement between Uzbekneftegaz and Zarubezhneft, and also launched the ANDIJANPETRO LLC joint venture.
On 1 December 2019, the actual transfer of operators from Andijanneft JSC to the ANDIJANPETRO LLC JV took place. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The new Uzbek-Russian joint venture ANDIJANPETRO was established on 16 March 2019, Uzbekneftegaz and Zarubezhneft (Russia). The tasks assigned to the ANDIJANPETRO LLC JV to carry out activities on the territory of Uzbekistan are production at existing oil fields - South Alamyshik, Khartoum and East Khartoum.
During the official ceremony, the office of the ANDIJANPETRO LLC joint venture in Andijan was directly included, whose specialists took part in the ceremony through a teleconference.
The participants in Tashkent and Andijan were welcomed by the Director General of Zarubezhneft JSC S. Kudryashov and the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan J. Mirzamakhmudov.
Then the documents were signed, in which the heads of the ANDIJANPETRO LLC joint venture N. Syromyatnikov, Andijanneft JSC, J. Bekmurodov, Uzbekneftegaz JSC B. Sidikov, Zarubezhneft JSC O. Akimov took part.
Development of the South Alamyshik field has a long history and has been underway since 1944. The main approach of the new operator of the ANDIJANPETRO LLC JV is the use of modern oilfield equipment and technologies, as well as innovative methods of increasing oil recovery.
The South Alamyshik, Khartoum and East Khartoum deposits are classified as mature, as part of their development project, a multiple increase in oil production is planned due to updating underground and ground equipment, collecting and systematizing geological and geophysical data, intensifying production, optimizing the development system, and introducing the best company practitioner. This project will allow you to study the features and geological potential of the region, establish constructive relationships with a partner and consider the possibility of expanding the area of activity through the implementation of other projects in Uzbekistan.
The new joint venture sets itself the goal of increasing the current level of oil production in the fields entrusted to it by more than 3 times. In addition, there is a process of increasing the professional level of the involved specialists.
