Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On November 7, 2019, the next, 47th meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services (SORB) of the CIS member states will be held in Tashkent, the press service of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports
During the meeting, it is planned to consider strengthening cooperation in the fight against international terrorism, drug trafficking, transnational organized crime, the joint development of measures to prevent inciting ethnic and religious hatred in the CIS, ensuring security in the field of transport communications and the economy.
It is planned to discuss the situation in Afghanistan in the context of its influence on ensuring regional security in Central Asia.
The head of the Anti-Terrorism Center of the CIS member states will present a report on the results of the joint anti-terrorism exercise and announce the Center’s work plans for 2020.
