UZEX together with the Ministry of Transport launched a new logistics portal
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The electronic portal is designed to ensure transparency in the field of freight transport by road and create favorable conditions for the activities of carriers in accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for radical improvement of the system of freight and passenger transportation" from 6 March 2019 and within the framework of the implementation of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for further trade liberalization and development of competition on commodity markets.”
The new logistics portal of the exchange is a single information resource for road carriers licensed by the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the right to carry goods by road, which records contracts concluded between customers and road carriers, as well as collects electronic information for organizing electronic interactive tenders for the provision of transport services logistics.
To use the website, the service customer opens account in the personal account of the mytransport.uz website and issues his order in electronic form, filling out information about the cargo and transportation conditions. In turn, the electronic system accepts the order and sends the proposal to licensed carriers for concluding a contract.
During the search procedure on the portal of the contractor, the customer can conduct interactive negotiations with the client and receive commercial offers from road carriers online. After entering a proposal for the delivery of goods and selecting a transport company in the electronic system, a lot is formed, which is confirmed by the trucker.
In order to create amenities for users of transport services, in the near future it is planned to introduce an additional GPS tracking function on the portal.
