Carlsberg Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Carlsberg Uzbekistan, brewery of Carlsberg in Uzbekistan, will participate on 28 March on global action “Earth Hour”.

Within the action, Carlsberg Uzbekistan will switch off electricity in save mode in its plant for an hour, except security system and its emblem in central entrance.

This global action is call of World Wildlife Fund to preserve healthy and sustainable climate and decrease carbon emission. On 28 March, over 1 billion people from 1,000 large cities will participate in action from 20:30 to 21:30 local times. They will voluntary switch off electricity at their homes and offices.

Carlsberg Uzbekistan called their colleagues and partners to join this action and contribute to fight against global warming.

Carlsberg Uzbekistan brewery was launched in autumn 2007. Its capacity is 100 million liters or 200 million bottles (capacity of bottle 0.5 l) of beer a year. The brewery produces Sarbast Original, Sarbast Extra, Tuborg Green, Baltika No. 3 Classic and Baltika No. 9 Strong brands now.
