Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan headed by the rector Sherzod Kudratkhodjayev visited the Kookmin University in South Korea, located in Seoul.
The university educates 20,000 students, of which 1,800 are students from foreign countries. About 600 professors teach the students. The Faculty of Communication of Kookmin University is engaged in training specialists in the field of media and communications. This university has created multimedia and photographic laboratories, a laboratory for the production of visual products.
The head of the Faculty of Communication, Professor Doh Yeon Kim, made a presentation where he presented Kookmin University.
In turn, the delegation of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan spoke about the academic areas, the learning process and international relations of the University.
At this meeting, a memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed, which envisages the organization of internships, academic exchange of students, the organization of joint research and conferences, as well as the implementation of scientific and practical media projects.
At the meeting, questions were raised about the prospects and the solution of current problems facing the journalism and media of the two states, including the influence of fakes on professional journalism, questions of trust in the information provided on social networks and blogs, the need to improve media education of the population.
