Flowers of Russia Festival in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1-7 April, Tashkent will host the XV International Cultural Festival “Flowers of Russia”.
The event will be held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
The festival program will include roundtable discussions “Traditions of sociocultural activities in upbringing children and additional education in Russia and Uzbekistan” and “Teaching technologies and sociocultural aspects in teaching Russian as a foreign language in Russia and abroad”, as well as master classes in pop vocal by Nikolay Chermoshentsev, acting skills by Andrey Shimko, the show program “Domisolka with you!” of the Children’s Music Theater Domisolka from Moscow.
Issues related to the creative development and education of children, problems of language education, the experience of teaching Russian in Central Asian countries, the peculiarities of language learning in the context of modern integration process will be considered, UzA reported.
Another event is the exhibition of children’s drawings “Russia through the eyes of a child”, which will present the best works of art school children at the age from 6 to 16. The project is supervised by experienced teachers and art historians who select children’s drawings from several regions of the Russian Federation for the exhibition. Works for the exhibition are created in different genres and visual techniques.
