Astana, Kazakhstan (UzDaily.com) -- China’s premier says his country will be able to maintain the stability of its financial markets against the impact of the global economic crisis, AP reported.
Wen Jiabao says stability in China’s economy will be the country’s most important contribution toward supporting the world’s economy, the report said.
Wen spoke Thursday at a summit of prime ministers from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization _ a security grouping which is dominated by Moscow and Beijing and also includes four Central Asian countries of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Wen said China will strengthen joint action with SCO members states to minimize the impact of a downturn in the world economy.
