Rio-2016: Denis Istomin loses to David Ferrer

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin lost in the first round of single’s tennis tournament of Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

In the first round, Istomin was defeated by David Ferrer from Spain in straight sets with the score 6:2 and 6:1. The match lasted an hour and 15 minutes.

During the match, Denis Istomin served an ace and recorded one break point. In its turn, Ferrer served five aces and registered six break points.
