Toshshahartranshizmat Association said that the German company delivered 13 buses of Mercedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor model to Tashkent.
According to the delivery schedule, the German side delivered 30 buses of this model to Tashkent, which will be used in transportation of passengers in the Uzbek capital.
It is expected that the German company will supply another 20 buses of this model in September and 50 buses in October 2013. The spare parts and diagnostic tools will be delivered by the end of 2013.
Toshshahartranshizmat Association and EvoBus GmbH (Germany) signed an agreement for supply of 100 city passenger buses of Mercedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor model to Tashkent city, spare parts and diagnostic tools for them in 2013.
The cost of the deal is 14 million euros, of which 13.75 million euros will be used to purchase buses and 250,000 euros for spare parts.
The resolution of the Government of Uzbekistan said that the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan (FRDU) will fully finance the agreement. The FRDU will issue loan for 15 years with three-year grace period.
