François Mark, former advisor on trade-economic issues of French Embassy in Tashkent, presented investment climate in Uzbekistan. Mr Mark currently works at Transport Ministry of France.

Mark said the market of Uzekistan presents great interest to European partners. Many enterprises with European investments work in the country. The country has no significant foreign debt and it implements international obligations.

Uzbekistan is attractive both with its natural resources and large consumer markets, as well as great intellectual potential, he added.

He called French companies to use advantages of investment market of Uzbekistan and preferences and favorable conditions for foreign markets.

The participants got acquainted with achievements and course of social-economic reforms in Uzbekistan, as well as measures directed to attract foreign direct investments.
