CIS FMs discuss over 15 issues in Moscow

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A session of Council of foreign ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was held in Moscow on 9 December. The session considered 15 issues.
Foreign ministers discussed international issues, including interactions of the CIS countries within the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
The CIS officials considered documents directed at stimulating development of collective interaction at humanitarian and economic directions, ensuring security and military politics.
Ministers agreed several mid-term programmes on combating illegal drug turnover, human trafficking, terrorism and extremism, which will be considered at the summit of the CIS leaders.
The participants discussed issues of organizational character, including related to upcoming summit of the CIS heads (10 December).
